At the Walnut primary processing facility walnuts are subject to preliminary cleaning, being washed and dried to have 7-8% moisture level and calibrated.
The produce is sorted by weight and is calibrated by diameter: 32, 34, 36, 38, 38+, being packed for sale.
The produce is organic – confirmed by Certificate MD-BIO-161. The facility capacity is 1,500 tonnes of walnuts per season.
